Its not only important to remove a virus from your PC, it may well have also damaged your Windows setup or, and passed on the virus to your floppies, CD's or anyone in your address book via the e-mail system without your knowledge.

Many Anti Virus programs do not stop some of the modern viruses. A sure sign that you have a virus is if your virus checker switches itself off.

We would suggest that a virus checker on its own when using a broadband connection is not really good enough and a Security Suite with anti virus is recommended.
